About us

Bamboo Glocal Village is a joint project initiated by Edaya(Cordillera, Philippines) and Tosayama Aacademy(Kochi, Japan).​

Our Vision

We are the advocates of the culture box inspired by the bamboo wisdom, commit ourselves to harmonizing and re-rooting culture and tradition through a creative platform that unifies all the core values, leading them to the streams of wisdom.

Our Mission

The goal of this project is to design workshop that redefines the value of vanishing traditional mountainous cultures in Asia, through the use of Bamboo as a common material. 

The learning process will lead us to discover and create solutions to some of the problems shared by rural communities in Asia and thereafter creating a new culture that harmonizes traditional and modern values.
